In the Heart of Hell’s Kitchen

Celebrate Pride

Stay with us in Hell’s Kitchen — one of the proudest neighborhoods in all of Manhattan, when New York City hosts the world’s biggest pride party. Our historic neighborhood is home to some of the best gay bars and celebrations in the city.

Dreaming up your itinerary? Let us help! You won't have to venture far from our hotel to find fun.

Just steps away from Ink 48 is Industry on 52nd Street, famed for its disco and drag-themed parties and performances. Crowned “New York’s Best Gay Bar” by New York Magazine, GetOut Magazine and the Village Voice, the club is open until 4 AM on a regular night, but anything goes during Pride!

The cowboy-themed Flaming Saddles is your queer nighttime saloon fantasy made real! Think Coyote Ugly meets Woody from Toy Story. The rousing atmosphere will have you ready to shake like a mechanical bull with country music and dancers. Put on your favorite ten-gallon hat and join the rodeo.

Since 2015, Rise Bar has offered a more chill option to the Hell's Kitchen gayborhood and is especially welcoming to female-identifying clientele. Karaoke, open-mic night, drag events, brunch and a relaxed atmosphere make Rise a beloved place in the community.

Here are some of the Pride events happening in the city:

From Friday, June 23 to Sunday, June 25, Governors Island will once again be transformed into Pride Island, a fabulous music festival. (And YAS, there will be extra ferries available for concert patrons!)

Make waves! Pride flags will fly with Rainbows on the Hudson on Saturday, June 24. Sail up the Hudson on a rainbow-themed cruise or watch the colorful display on the water right from your waterfront room!

On Sunday, June 25, take part in the NYC Pride Parade, as it kicks off at noon from Fifth Avenue (at 25th Street). Known as the biggest LGBTQIA+ event in the world, marchers and floats will move past historic queer landmarks such as the Stonewall National Monument and festive Christopher Street in Greenwich Village. A crowd of 2 million is expected to attend!

Step off the parade route and stroll at PrideFest. The Hudson Street fair brings together families, merchants, and artists. Enjoy the food, crafts, and live performances at this free neighborhood event.

Whatever you do, we’ll be waiting for you with spacious light-filled guestrooms and suites with the comfiest of beds, soaring views of Manhattan and the Hudson River, and amazing proximity to the best of Pride.
